Boutique Law Firm in Beverly Hills seeks a Paralegal. You will have the opportunity to help progress our clients’ cases involving employment, personal injury and mass torts.
* MUST HAVE 3 YEARS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE.
** MUST BE OPEN TO A ONE WEEK PAID TRIAL (CANIDATES WORK WILL BE EVAULATED TO SEE IF THEIR THE RIGHT FIT)
Daily Tasks:
Propound and respond to discovery.
Prepare substantive responses for Plaintiff and review Defendant’s responses.
Prepare documents for filing with the state and federal court.
Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel in an effective and courteous manner.
Ownership of calendaring and scheduling deadlines.
Assist with trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits.
Ability to manage cases diligently
Prepare demand letters
Research
Draft meet and confers
Draft deposition notices
Draft motions
Answer phone calls
Your Skills:
3 years of Paralegal experience
Working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure for state AND federal court.
Familiarity with DFEH and EEOC claims process.
Ability to perform independent research
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Some experience in Federal procedure is a plus.
