Job Summary:
Massimo Motor is hiring a Legal Associate to support the company’s legal operations, assist in contract management, and ensure compliance with corporate and public company regulations. This role will work closely with the Legal Counsel and coordinate with external law firms on various legal matters. The ideal candidate will have experience handling legal and compliance matters related to publicly traded companies, including SEC filings, corporate governance, and investor relations compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts and legal documents.
Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, public company, and regulatory matters.
Help ensure company compliance with SEC regulations, stock exchange requirements, and public disclosure obligations.
Support internal teams with legal inquiries, including public company reporting, shareholder communications, and regulatory filings.
Coordinate with external law firms on litigation, compliance, public company governance, and corporate matters.
Maintain legal files, records, SEC filings, and contract databases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or related legal studies.
3-5 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably with public company experience.
Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, corporate governance, and public company compliance.
Experience handling SEC filings, annual reports, proxy statements, investor disclosures, and other public company related task
Excellent research, contract review, and regulatory analysis skills.
Ability to communicate legal concepts effectively with cross-functional teams.
