This Is For a Healthcare Attorney Ready To Take Ownership At a Forward-thinking Firm At The Intersection Of Law And Healthcare Innovation. Candidates Must
- Have 5–20 years of healthcare law experience at a law firm
- Bring regulatory, transactional, and compliance depth
- Have specific expertise in digital health, telehealth, or managed care
This is NOT for general litigators, in-house counsel without firm experience, or candidates without healthcare regulatory knowledge.
About The Opportunity
A rapidly growing 15-attorney national boutique that serves as outside general counsel to businesses shaping the future of digital health and telemedicine. The team is close-knit, collegial, and genuinely enjoys working together. This is a high-autonomy role with real client ownership from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advise healthcare, telehealth, and digital health clients on federal and state regulatory compliance (Stark Law, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA)
- Structure and negotiate healthcare transactions: M&A of medical practices, joint ventures, and MSAs
- Guide multi-state telehealth compliance — prescribing laws, licensing, and interstate compacts
- Counsel emerging companies and VC clients on digital health structuring and go-to-market compliance
- Draft and negotiate clinical trial agreements, BAAs, and value-based care contracts
What We're Looking For
- 5–20 years of healthcare law experience at a law firm
- Regulatory and transactional fluency (not just one or the other)
- Deep familiarity with digital health, telehealth, or managed care
- Entrepreneurial mindset — this is an ownership role, not a support role
- Ability to build and manage client relationships independently
