Job Details
As an attorney in our Health Law Service Line, you will work on sophisticated and challenging matters involving:
Advising clients on complex health and business law issues
Providing counsel on federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA
Counseling on corporate law, compliance programs, audits, and governance matters
Supporting clinical trial research compliance
Managing and prioritizing multiple legal projects and deadlines
Engaging with clients locally and nationally in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
Qualifications
J.D. and licensed to practice in South Carolina.
Minimum of 8+ years of professional practice experience in health law
Demonstrated ability to independently manage sophisticated regulatory and compliance matters
Strong background in HIPAA, audits, and healthcare regulatory frameworks
Technological proficiency with legal practice management systems and research databases
Strong project management, research, and communication skills
American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) membership preferred
A portable book of business is preferred
