Full time Matrimonial and Family Law Associate Attorney for our high-volume law firm.
Duties:
– Litigate cases in Supreme and Family Court
– Conduct legal research and analysis
– Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
– Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
– Represent clients in mediation
– Attend court hearings and trials as well as conduct depositions
– Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
Experience:
– Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
– Admission to the state bar or pending admission to the NY Bar
– Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
– Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
