Pachuta & Kammerman is an established immigration firm with offices in the DC area and Denver, Colorado. We are expanding into the North Carolina market and looking to add an experienced immigration attorney based in Charlotte. Our culture is fast-paced, rewarding, and supportive. Our goal is to provide high quality representation to the immigrant community.
The Position
We are searching for a new attorney to handle a variety of immigration matters, including removal defense in the North Carolina immigration court and cases before the USCIS.
The ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrated interest in and experience with immigration law
Active admission to the North Carolina bar or ability to waive in
Responsibilities include:
Independently managing a caseload and calendar of court appearances and filing deadlines
Understanding and complying with all deadlines and other requirements as dictated by court practice manuals or case scheduling orders
Preparing and filing motions and memoranda of law
Representing clients before immigration and state courts
