We are currently seeking experienced Legal Nurse Consultant contractors with previous medical chronology experience.
Responsibilities in this role include:
Compile, analyze and summarize medical records
Maintain experienced-level in relevant software programs
Review a case for merit
Interpret medical records and translate medical/nursing terms, diagnoses, and treatment plans for the attorney-client
Write brief to comprehensive reports
Create timelines of important events and develop illustrations for demonstrative evidence
Educate the attorney-client
Define applicable Standards of Care (deviations and adherences)
Conduct literature research applicable to the case
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Computer Knowledge
Advanced research and writing skills
Proven organization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Impeccable attention to detail
Ability to work to meet client needs and case deadlines
Education and Experience
R.N. license required with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience
Prior medical chronology experience required
Must demonstrate self-motivation and initiative, work well independently and as a member of a team.
