Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and counsel on diverse matters including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers’ compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury law, employment law, and general & commercial litigation
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and depositions with precision and clarity
- Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with procedural laws
- Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and assisting with trial preparation activities
- Represent clients in court depositions, negotiations, and hearings while advocating effectively on their behalf
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously through diligent case management practices and regular client communication
- Stay current on statutory laws and procedural updates relevant to various practice areas to provide accurate legal guidance
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdictions
- Proven experience in multiple legal fields including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers’ compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury case experience, employment law case experience, and general litigation
- Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for statutory and case law analysis
- Excellent legal writing and drafting skills with attention to detail in contract drafting and motion preparation
- Demonstrated ability to conduct court depositions and trial preparation effectively
- Exceptional negotiation skills coupled with persuasive advocacy abilities
- Familiarity with procedural laws across various jurisdictions and experience managing complex litigation cases
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and collaboration within a team environment
- Prior legal administrative experience is preferred to ensure efficient case management

Pay: $3,000.00 – $4,219.69 per week
