The Team
The U.S. Division of American Tower is seeking an Attorney I to join the Real Estate Legal & Compliance group’s Real Estate Legal Due Diligence team. As an Attorney I on the Real Estate Legal Due Diligence team, you will be responsible for the review of title reports/title commitments, surveys, ground leases, perpetual easements and other real estate land documents in order to identify and mitigate risks in real estate transactions.
Responsibilities:
Review title reports and title commitments.
Analyze surveys and ground leases.
Examine perpetual easements and other real estate land documents.
Confirm ownership of tower property by reviewing deeds, probate records, and heirship affidavits.
Identify potential adverse interests by reviewing mortgages, leases, and easements.
Ensure legal descriptions of tower compound areas and related easements are accurate.
Verify access from tower compounds to public right of way and check for encroachments.
