We are currently working with a client who is seeking a proactive and creative individual to support contract administration. The ideal candidate will have experience with contract management software and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Review purchase orders, process contract amendments, close-outs, and other related documents (bonds, insurance, contract assembly, etc.).

Prepare, submit, and manage company contractor and engineering licenses.

Assist with preparing, distributing, reconciling, and responding to internal departmental budgets in line with fiscal year forecasts and plans.

Organize and maintain legal department files, ensuring proper tracking of document expiration dates.

Collect, organize, and maintain financial and confidential data for law department reports and presentations.

Work with the corporate risk manager to coordinate insurance-related matters, including claims, certificates of insurance, and annual renewals.

Take on special projects and assignments as directed by the General Counsel.

Qualifications:

A 4-year business degree is preferred.

Experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or contract specialist role is a plus.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other database applications; experience with Lotus Notes is a plus.

Professional, confident, and detail-oriented demeanor.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Ability to perform well in a fast-paced work environment.

We are specifically seeking local area candidates as this role requires the individual to work onsite at the company’s office location.

Compensation: $70,000 annually

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
