BRAC Bank PLC is currently seeking a highly motivated, intelligent, and purpose-driven professional to join its Internal Control and Compliance Division in the following position:
Job Grade: Associate Manager (SO-PO)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Head of ICCD and the five departmental verticals (e.g., Audit, Compliance, Regulatory Monitoring, Concurrent Audit & Special & Vigilance Audit).
- Monitor the progress of tasks across all verticals to ensure deadlines are met and resources are optimized and allocated effectively. And prepare comprehensive daily/weekly/monthly performance dashboards for Head of ICC.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination within ICCD units and other divisions of the Bank, ensuring smooth information flow and timely follow-through on inter-departmental matters.
- Leads digital transformation & innovation of ICCD by implementation of Audit and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) systems and strategic action plans.
- Execute special projects assigned by the Head of ICC, ranging from departmental restructuring to the rollout of new policies/workflow.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Operations departments to ensure ICC initiatives are integrated into broader business goals.
- Create and maintain actionable item registers of ICCD for Board Meetings, Board Audit Committee Meetings, Senior Management Team Meetings, and other governance forums; track and follow up on all actionable items assigned to ICCD.
- Support the department through organizational shifts, ensuring new digital tools and methodologies are adopted across all teams.
- Track and coordinate all HR activities of the division, including new recruitment, onboarding, internal transfers and trainings MIS etc.
- Coordinate all logistical requirements for divisional meetings, workshops, training sessions, official events, and procurement of office essentials.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters/ bachelor’s degree from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic track record.
- 5 years of relevant work experience with minimum 2 years in Internal Control & Compliance, Risk Management, Financial Crime Risk, Fraud Risk Management, preferably in banking.
- Relevant certification like banking Diploma– JAIBB/AIBB (as per regulatory requirements) and BIBM Certifications (CERM, CETS, CECM, CEAF, CPAI, CICC, CEEB) will be preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professional maturity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bangla; Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
