Would you like to become a member of the experienced team of an established firm?
Our client, a reputable law firm with magnificent offices in downtown Montreal, is looking for a M&A and transactional Associate to complete its dynamic team.
YOUR ROLE:

Participate in large-scale commercial transaction mandates;

Draft transactional documents related to purchases and sales of assets and other various commercial contracts;

Negotiate and draft purchase agreements;

Conclude financing agreements to support commercial transactions;

Participate in the implementation of various contracts related to commercial transactions and mergers and acquisitions;

Contribute to the due diligence process and collaborate with clients on strategies to adopt.
SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor of Laws and be a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;

Have approximately three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a lawyer in commercial transactional and/or corporate law;

Significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and business law;

Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
