Position: Associate Litigation Lawyer (3–5 Years’ Call)
Compensation: $60,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
Our client, a well-established boutique civil litigation firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Litigation Lawyer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to gain broad exposure across a diverse litigation practice while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Practice Areas:
Insurance litigation
Construction disputes
Professional liability
Shareholder and commercial disputes
Self-regulatory and administrative law matters
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation files from inception through resolution
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and written submissions
Attend discoveries, mediations, pre-trials, and court appearances
Collaborate with senior counsel on complex litigation matters
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders
Maintain accurate file management and meet all procedural deadlines
Qualifications:
3–5 years of civil litigation experience
Member in good standing with the Law Society of [Province]
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Proven ability to manage multiple files and deadlines independently
High level of attention to detail and organization
Experience in one or more of the listed practice areas is considered an asset
