Senior Associate Lawyer – Funds – Luxembourg
Our client is a very well-known and highly respected international law firm. As the company plans its growth they seek an Associate lawyer with experience in funds to join their team in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will enjoy challenging and high-profile work; this role represents an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to a growing practice. The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Advising clients on a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on Luxembourg fund formation, ongoing legal and regulatory compliance as well as restructuring of Luxembourg investment vehicles
- Working with a client base that comprises domestic and international clients and prestigious foreign law firms
- Engaging in business development activities, actively promoting the firm, and seeking opportunities for new work and cross-selling
- Working as part of a team, including supervising junior lawyers’ work and actively sharing knowledge and experience within the team
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a general funds lawyer, ideally gained within a top-tier law firm
- Admission to the Luxembourg Bar or eligibility to be registered on List IV of the Luxembourg Bar
- A strong academic background with excellent written communication and drafting skills
- Outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues, and work well in a team environment
- Bilingual proficiency in at least English and German/French
- Eligibility to work within Luxembourg
