Our practice covers litigation alongside corporate and commercial work, so you will get exposure to both contentious and transactional matters.
You will handle matters end to end – from the initial discussion with a prospective client through to completion – with guidance from senior lawyers throughout.
What you will do
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, legal opinions, and case strategies
• Draft contracts and other legal documents from scratch, and review incoming drafts
• Attend client meetings and negotiations
• Work alongside senior lawyers on larger hearings, transactions, and other proceedings
• Manage case files, deadlines, and correspondence with clients and counterparties
What we are looking for
• Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) from an accredited university
• Advocate licence (PERADI)
• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Confidence dealing with clients directly, in writing and in person
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to learn quickly and work well under pressure
• Sound judgment, professional integrity, and a client-service mindset
• Prior experience as a junior lawyer or intern in a law firm or in-house legal department is an advantage
