The Juvenile Officer of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Missouri has an opening in the Johnson County Juvenile Center for Juvenile Administrative Support. This position is a county paid with county paid benefits. The starting pay is $33,692.16 annually with a 2% increase after successful completion of a six-month probationary period. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents and court orders, electronic filing, answering phones, greeting clients, maintaining an office calendar, and processing mail.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school (or equivalent) and two years clerical experience is required. Experience in a court or legal setting is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should have strong time-management skills, multitasking ability, attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, a working knowledge of MS Word and the aptitude for learning new software systems. Applicants must have a clean driving record, and submit to a background check.
