Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional looking to join a dynamic legal team in the heart of Manhattan? We are a leading boutique divorce and family law firm seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and clients with compassion, efficiency, and professionalism.
Responsibilities Include:
Drafting and proofreading legal correspondence and court documents
Managing attorney calendars and scheduling court appearances, meetings, and depositions
E-filing documents with NYS courts (familiarity with NYSCEF essential)
Coordinating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Organizing case files and maintaining accurate client records
Assisting with billing, document management, and other administrative tasks
Requirements:
Prior experience as a legal assistant or paralegal (preferably in matrimonial/family law)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal billing/timekeeping software
Familiarity with court procedures and legal terminology in New York
Professional demeanor and a client-service mindset
