What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage commercial legal and compliance risks for the Government business globally
Provide expert legal counsel on government contracting and compliance terms
Serve as the leading expert in sales contracts involving US government entities
Lead and develop a high-performing team of legal professionals
Advise senior leadership on government-related legal matters and business opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
Juris Doctor; admitted to practice law in the United States and in good standing
10+ years of experience in a large law firm and/or corporate setting with a focus on government contracting
Deep understanding of US federal, state, and municipal government procurement laws
Extensive experience in drafting and managing complex government contracts
Proven leadership skills and experience managing high-performing legal teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with public sector sales and marketing practices
Familiarity with various contracting vehicles including cooperative agreements and RFPs
Strong technical legal knowledge in government contract and commercial law, particularly with SaaS and Gen AI products
