Job Title: Legal Intake Coordinator (1099 Contractor – On-Call)
Location: Austin, TX + 20-Mile Radius
Compensation: Contract-Based / Competitive Per-Visit Rate
Schedule: On-Call / Flexible Hours
Position Overview:
As a Legal Intake Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients. When someone expresses interest in signing up with our firm, you will be dispatched to meet them in person, review intake documents, explain the sign-up process, and gather essential case information. This role is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of personal injury law basics.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to prospective client locations within a 30-mile radius of Austin (home visits, hospitals, etc.)
Present and explain contracts and intake forms
Ensure all required documents are completed accurately
Communicate effectively with the law firm’s staff regarding new intakes
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions
Requirements:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Preferred
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license – Required
Basic knowledge of personal injury law and motor vehicle accident claims – Preferred
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Smartphone or tablet capable of scanning and submitting documents
Employment Type:
Independent Contractor (1099)
This is an on-call position with no guaranteed hours. Availability during evenings and weekends is a plus. Compensation is $150.00 per signed intake.
