The Role
Slice is looking for an experienced attorney to join its growing team. The Associate General Counsel will take the lead in addressing a range of commercial, corporate and regulatory matters impacting a fast growing private company.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts, licensing agreements, marketing agreements, and complicated vendor agreements
Help protect and manage the company’s intellectual property rights
Assist with managing legal disputes or claims, including liaising with external counsel when necessary
Assist with corporate governance matters
Play a key role in advising on and implementing controls, policies and processes
Identify legal risks and provide proactive advice and solutions
Handle other matters as assigned by the General Counsel
The Team
You will be a member of Slice’s growing Legal Department and report to Slice’s General Counsel
The Winning Recipe
These are the core competencies this role calls for:
5+ years of relevant legal experience
J.D. from highly reputable law school and admitted to at least one state bar
Top-tier law firm experience is preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proactive and able to function effectively in environment of rapidly changing demands
Highly intelligent problem-solver, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and at all levels of the organization
Excellent education credentials

Salary Range: $180k – $210k + benefits (including bonus and stock option opportunity)
