The Associate General Counsel plays a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing the firm’s legal strategies and operations and requires a deep understanding of corporate law, regulatory compliance, litigation management, employment law, real estate law, and vendor contracting, along with a strong background in the wealth management or financial services industry and a proven track record of handling complex transactions, including M&A.
Location: Remote or in office – up to you
Reports to: Head of Strategic Initiatives and Chief Legal Officer (“CLO”)
Compensation: $320-$345K Base plus 100K Guaranteed Bonus plus equity

Background
Experience Leading complex M&A transactions, including structuring deals, managing due diligence, negotiating transaction documents, and overseeing post-closing integration matters.
Experience working with broker-dealers and registered investment advisers and their regulatory frameworks.
Have played a similar role to Associate General Counsel in a wealth management or financial services firm?
Experience managing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution processes?
Experience managing corporate governance.
Admitted to a state bar association.
Experience in the wealth management or financial services industry.
Strong experience with/ M&A transactions and securities regulations.
Experience with complex litigations.
A background in securities litigation or regulatory enforcement matters.
