Whats unique about this job (What you’ll do)
Provides strategic legal support and oversight for the assigned region/countries, ensuring the organization operates in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations while enabling business growth and operational excellence.
This role serves as a trusted advisor to regional executive leadership and local operations, proactively identifying legal risks, developing mitigation strategies, and aligning legal guidance with commercial objectives. The position contributes to safeguard the company’s interests across corporate governance, regulatory compliance, labor and employment matters as required, commercial contracts, litigation management, and risk management within the region/countries.
Responsibilities
- Works in conjunction and coordinates the use of local counsel.
- Provides legal advice to the clubs in the assigned region, in all legal matters such as litigation, general commercial advise, contracts, corporate documents, claims, etc.
- Drafts and reviews contracts and templates for the Company’s functional areas, and implements process and contract tools for managing large volume of contract work.
- Assists and advises Human Resources as needed.
- Assists outside labor counsel with regard to investigations and compiling evidence.
- Provides training as required.
Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are)
- University Degree equivalent from an accredited top Law School.
- 5-10 years plus of law firm and/or in-house practice.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Significant Commercial and contract experience preferred.
- Experience in retail sector preferred.
