I have been retained on a non-public search with a high-end plaintiff-side law firm that seeks to hire for its Wilmington, DE office (attorneys expected in the office three days weekly) a midlevel or senior litigator for a role focused on Delaware Chancery litigation matters. Previous Chancery experience is not required. Admission to the DE bar is also not required at the start, but if not already admitted an attorney would need to take the bar. Their innovative Chancery group focuses on a diversified mix of M&A litigation, corporate governance litigation, and shareholder derivative litigation. The firm features an impressive set of attorneys, offers good mentorship, women leadership, young leadership, and a significant number of trials; attorneys typically work about 2000-2300 hours annually; and the salary is likely about $185,000-225,000, depending on class year and relevant experience, plus a purely discretionary bonus (typically ranging from $5,000-20,000 or so). I have close ties with the firm and have placed more than 40 attorneys there.
