This role will primarily focus on our family law cases, but there’s plenty of room to grow.

Some Required Skills:

Candidates must be dependable and detail-oriented.
The ideal candidate must be able to manage family law cases (divorce, custody, paternity, child support, contempt, modifications, etc.) from start to finish effectively.
Must be prepared to handle court appearances, depositions, and attendance at mediations.
Must be comfortable drafting complex legal pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
The candidate will be responsible for effectively communicating, building a rapport with clients, and negotiating with opposing parties.
A good fit for this role must possess strong negotiation and litigation skills, including the ability to successfully resolve legal disputes both in and out of the courtroom.
Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of Family Law experience and must be admitted to practice law in Indiana.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation in family law matters.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in family law litigation, advocating for their best interests.
Manage client intake processes and maintain effective communication throughout the legal proceedings.
Collaborate with legal staff to streamline office operations and enhance client service.
