Associate Commercial Counsel – AI & Cloud Infrastructure

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) | Taipei, Taiwan | Hybrid

Help Build the Infrastructure Powering AI

Artificial Intelligence is transforming every industry—and behind every AI model is the cloud infrastructure that makes it possible.

At Oracle, you’ll have the opportunity to work on the commercial transactions that enable Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), one of the world’s leading hyperscale cloud platforms. Our legal team supports the procurement of the critical technology behind global data center expansion, including GPUs, CPUs, advanced memory, networking equipment, power and cooling systems, servers, racks, and other infrastructure powering AI and cloud computing.

This is an exceptional opportunity for lawyers with 1–6 years of post-qualification experience who want to move into a sophisticated in-house technology legal role. Whether you’re currently in private practice or an in-house legal team, you’ll gain exposure to high-value commercial transactions, collaborate with global business leaders, and build expertise in one of the fastest-growing areas of the technology industry.

No prior cloud, AI, or data center experience is required. We value strong legal fundamentals, commercial judgment, curiosity, and the ability to learn.

Why Join Oracle?

This isn’t a traditional junior in-house legal role.

You’ll become part of Oracle’s Global Supply Chain Legal team, supporting the commercial transactions behind Oracle’s worldwide AI and cloud infrastructure expansion.

What makes this opportunity unique?

  • Work on commercial agreements supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), one of the world’s leading hyperscale cloud platforms.
  • Gain early exposure to AI infrastructure, data center development, and global technology procurement.
  • Partner with experienced lawyers across the U.S. and Asia on sophisticated cross-border commercial transactions.
  • Develop negotiation skills and commercial judgment through structured mentoring, playbooks, and hands-on experience.
  • Build expertise in technology transactions, supplier negotiations, and strategic commercial contracting.
  • Enjoy a flexible hybrid working model, international collaboration, and long-term career development within a global technology leader.

What You’ll Do

As part of Oracle’s Global Supply Chain Legal team, you’ll support commercial transactions that enable the continued expansion of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and supplier agreements.
  • Supporting procurement transactions for AI infrastructure, cloud technologies, and global data center projects.
  • Advising internal stakeholders on commercial contract terms and contractual risk.
  • Working closely with procurement, supply chain, engineering, finance, and business teams across multiple regions.
  • Collaborating with Oracle’s global legal organization on complex cross-border commercial matters.
  • Conducting legal research and providing practical, business-focused legal guidance.
  • Supporting contract execution and maintaining accurate legal documentation and contract records.
  • Contributing to contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and continuous process improvements.

As your experience grows, you’ll take increasing ownership of negotiations, supplier relationships, and higher-value commercial transactions.

Who We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed attorney qualified to practice in any jurisdiction.
  • 1–6 years of post-qualification legal experience (PQE).
  • Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
  • Strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to work directly with international legal and business teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and commercial judgment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and business-minded approach to legal work.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and industries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a law firm or multinational corporate legal department.
  • Exposure to commercial negotiations or supplier agreements.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

This opportunity is ideal for lawyers who:

  • Are looking to make their first or second move into an in-house legal role.
  • Enjoy commercial contracting and negotiation.
  • Want exposure to sophisticated technology transactions earlier in their careers.
  • Are interested in AI, cloud computing, and digital infrastructure.
  • Want to work closely with business leaders rather than only external clients.
  • Are curious, resilient, commercially minded, and eager to learn.
