Associate Attorney – Single Plaintiff Employment
We are seeking an experienced employment attorney to join our highly talented San Diego office. The attorney will focus on defending clients in single plaintiff employment litigation (in court and arbitration) and investigating and responding to administrative charges. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of employment litigation experience in single plaintiff employment litigation.
Responsibilities
Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates must be licensed to practice in California
Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
Ability to work with partners and other attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
Member in good standing
Successful completion of the bar exam
Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
Compensation
Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr
