Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal in preparation for numerous hearings and multiple trails relating to DV-TRO, Custody, Divorce, and numerous other related motions in order to prepare documents, paperwork, evidence, and exhibits for trail. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law, trails, rules of evidence and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and ability to draft full motion packages for owner attorney review and filing.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing legal documents related to family law case, including petitions, motions, and discovery requests.
Manage and organize case files using document management systems to ensure easy access to important information.
Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Transcribe legal documents and correspondence as needed, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and answering inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
Proofread legal documents for clarity, grammar, and compliance with court requirements.
Experience
You must have 1-2 years of family law and trail experience; this is not intern-ship or training. You must be available to come work in the office on site due to sensitive nature of evidence.
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures relevant to family law cases is essential.
Excellent research abilities combined with strong proofreading skills are necessary for producing high-quality legal documents.

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
