Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to delve into the heart of the legal industry, working on high-profile cases and providing top-notch legal services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the legal field, with a proven track record in handling complex cases, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of legal principles and procedures.

Pay is DOE 100-130k for 3-5 years of experience and 150k+ for attorneys with 6+ years out of school with a book of business or exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

General Case Management

Draft responsive pleadings and motions

Respond to Discovery

Attend Court Proceedings

Conduct Depositions

Conduct Research and secure expert witnesses

Examine legal data to determine the advisability of defending or prosecuting a lawsuit.

Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.

Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.

Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the State Bar.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an attorney, specifically with premises liability and civil litigation.

Experience with Medical Malpractice, Transportation, Long Term Care/Nursing Home Defense, or Premises Liability is a plus.

Exceptional ability to develop and implement legal strategies.

Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.

Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High level of professional ethics and integrity.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
