Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations by providing administrative support and excellent customer service. This position requires strong computer literacy and time management skills, as well as the ability to handle various clerical tasks efficiently. There is tremendous growth potential for the right candidate. Spanish speaking is a plus.
Responsibilities
Diarying court appearances
Obtaining all party deposition dates for ASAP
Notifying clients of upcoming deposition dates/court dates
Scheduling medical appointments
Obtaining IME/EUO dates and notifying clients of the same
Drafting and filing documents with the Court
Managing weekly court and firm calendar
Hiring per diem attorneys for court appearances when necessary
Working directly with attorneys with respect to calendar
Helping attorneys with other litigation tasks on an as needed basis
Obtaining signatures for deposition transcripts and sending transcripts out as necessary
Experience
Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in office software applications.
Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.
Experience in customer service or front desk operations is a plus.
Demonstrated time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with calendar management and office procedures is desirable.
