Well-established litigation boutique with offices in Tampa and Sarasota is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join their team in Downtown Tampa. The firm practices statewide in areas such as employment litigation, business litigation, construction, and commercial litigation. Job Responsibilities
Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appeal.
Develop and implement case strategies in consultation with clients and senior attorneys.
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and legal arguments.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Negotiate settlements to resolve disputes efficiently.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
Maintain detailed records of case proceedings and outcomes.
Stay informed about current legislation and legal trends.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for case management.
Participate in business development efforts, including networking and client meetings.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Florida.
At least 2 years of experience in commercial or construction litigation, including depositions.
Experience in developing and implementing case strategies.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Exceptional communication skills for explaining complex legal concepts.
High professionalism and ethical standards.
Ability to manage multiple cases under pressure.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
