We are primarily a litigation law firm that specializes in lemon law and personal injury matters. As our firm grows, we are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of litigation experience to join our hard-working legal team.
In working with our firm, you will not be “paper-pushing.” You will be in court, taking depositions, running your own discovery, and talking directly with clients and opposing counsel. We are looking for a go-getter who knows how to work independently and wants real ownership of their files.
This position is great for someone who prefers a smaller firm — a place where you can grow, learn, and actually make a difference in your clients’ lives. If you want to be handed a stack of documents and left alone in a room, this isn’t the job. If you want to run cases, it is.
We are looking for attorneys who have real litigation experience — discovery, depositions, and court appearances. Prior experience in lemon law or personal injury is highly preferable.
This is an in-office position, open only to attorneys already licensed to practice in California. Please do not apply if you are awaiting bar results. We prefer individuals who are local to Woodland Hills or the San Fernando Valley.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of lemon law and personal injury matters
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and oppositions
- Take and defend depositions, including PMQ depositions
- Appear at hearings, case management conferences, and mediations
- Propound and respond to written discovery; handle meet and confer
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Conduct thorough legal research
- Communicate directly with clients about case status and strategy
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California
- Minimum 2–7 years of California civil litigation experience
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while independently managing your own responsibilities
- Knowledge of lemon law or personal injury is a plus
Salary Range: $125,000 – $175,000 annually, depending on experience. Where you land in the range reflects your years of litigation experience, your background in lemon law or personal injury, and your ability to handle matters on your own. After one year with the firm, you’ll be eligible to participate in our discretionary bonus program.
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Full-time), In Office
Benefits: Vacation days (after 6 months of employment), sick days, disability insurance, 401(k), and 5 paid holidays. We do not offer health insurance at this time but expect to do so in the near future.
