A law firm seeks a Labor & Employment Associate with over two years of litigation experience to join its office in Denver, Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of litigation matters, including employment law issues, discrimination and harassment cases, wage and hour disputes, and class action work.
Duties
- Handle litigation matters involving employment law issues.
- Engage in single plaintiff discrimination and harassment cases.
- Manage state and administrative charges.
- Participate in wage and hour matters and class action work.
- Contribute to various types of commercial litigation.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the State of Colorado.
- Experience in labor and employment litigation preferred; other civil litigation experience welcome.
- Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Motivated to be part of a busy national practice.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and assume responsibility for matters.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
