A Junior Litigation Associate with 2 years of California litigation practice and active admission to the California Bar. Pay is competitive, at $110,000–$140,000+ depending on experience.
A Mid-level Litigation Associate with minimum 5 years of California litigation practice and active admission to the California Bar. Pay: $150,000-$220,000+ depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Litigate and negotiate on behalf of clients in legal proceedings
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice
Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously
Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the CA Bar
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Mandarin language proficiency preferred but not required
First or second chair trial experience preferred but not required
Familiarity with federal litigation preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits:
1550 billable hours
Competitive salary 110K-220K+ (depending on the level of experience)
