A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level Associate Attorney to join their team in Baltimore, MD. This position offers an opportunity to work on impactful cases involving survivors of sexual abuse, providing legal representation in complex civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various stages of litigation, including case management, drafting legal documents, and participating in depositions and trial preparation.

Manage and oversee all aspects of civil litigation, with a focus on sexual abuse survivors cases.
Draft complaints, responses to written discovery, and other legal documents as part of case preparation.
Conduct depositions, gather evidence, and assist in trial preparation.
Independently manage a caseload, developing expertise in specific areas of litigation.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and develop case approaches.
Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring case progression.
Stay current with developments in civil litigation, particularly in the context of survivors rights and abuse law.
At least 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly plaintiff representation in injury matters (preferred).
Attorneys with relevant experience in liability litigation, such as insurance defense, will also be considered.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to the firm’s mission of advocating for survivors of sexual abuse and advancing justice.
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive client matters.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of Maryland (or ability to obtain).
