Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney at Law (Entry Level) to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for recent law graduates who have recently been licensed or are awaiting results from the bar exam, or those with limited legal experience to develop their skills in civil litigation and family law. As an entry-level attorney, you will support senior attorneys in managing diverse legal matters, conducting research, drafting documents, and preparing for litigation. Junior Associates will also develop, and build their own case load under support of senior attorneys. This position is paid and designed to foster professional growth within a collaborative and energetic environment dedicated to excellence in legal advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and more.
- Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.
- Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating witness schedules.
- Support attorneys during court depositions, hearings, and other proceedings by taking detailed notes and managing case files.
- Engage in client communication to gather information, provide updates, and clarify legal options while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Review statutory laws and procedural rules to ensure compliance in all legal processes.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently through effective legal case management systems while maintaining meticulous records.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of procedural law, statutory research, and legal writing techniques.
- Experience or familiarity with diverse practice areas such as employment law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers’ compensation law, and general & commercial litigation.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
- Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills tailored for client interaction and courtroom advocacy.
- Demonstrated ability to draft clear legal documents such as contracts and motions with attention to detail.
- Experience working in a law office environment with exposure to case management software is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
