Key Responsibilities:
Case Management: Assist in managing class action cases from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for depositions and trials.
Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving any issues related to their cases.
Legal Research and Writing: Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Discovery: Assist in all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and preparing for depositions.
Court Appearances: Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in class action litigation, preferably in employment law.
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
A strong understanding of class action procedures and litigation processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in legal research and writing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
