The Office of Attorney General has an opening for a Legal Secretary in the Jefferson City office. Qualified individuals should have excellent computer, clerical, telephone, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) is preferred, as is prior legal and debt collection experience. Responsibilities include drafting correspondence and legal documents, filing legal documents, and collection work. Applicants must be able to exercise independent judgment, work well under pressure, and handle multiple projects while managing a large caseload. Starting salary $42,117.60.
