Key Responsibilities
- An established civil litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco office.
- This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with a strong background in defense litigation, particularly in rideshare and Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) matters.
- The position offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload, work closely with partners, and grow within a collaborative and supportive legal environment.
- Manage and handle a caseload of civil litigation matters independently
- Conduct court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide case updates
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality legal work
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience in civil litigation defense
- Experience with rideshare and UM/UIM litigation preferred
- Strong experience drafting motions and handling depositions
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
