Associate Attorney Jobs in Truckee, CA at High West Law LLP
HIGH WEST LAW LLP, a California and Nevada law firm with offices located in Reno, NV and Truckee, CA, is seeking a full-time associate attorney to work with our transactional and/or litigation teams. The attorney will be based out of either our Reno or Truckee offices with the potential for some remote work. This role involves direct interaction with clients, as well as collaboration with senior attorneys. All inquiries will remain strictly confidential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with litigation matters, including case research and assessment, case strategy, drafting pleadings, arguing motions, trial preparation, and trials.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents, including purchase agreements, construction contracts, commercial contracts, operating agreements, loan documents, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients, ranging from startups to established corporations, on general corporate matters, governance, risk mitigation and disputes.
- Advise clients on business formations, corporate structuring, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and clients to manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
- California and/or Nevada licensed attorney.
- Ability to work in-person in Truckee, CA 96161 and/or Reno, NV 89502.
- 0-5 years of legal experience. Prior knowledge of construction law, business law, or a related practice area preferred, but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of work and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
