About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in removal defense, with a particular emphasis on appeals, briefs, and motions to reopen. This position requires excellent legal writing skills and a commitment to advocating for clients in complex . This is an in-person position and may require some travel to attend hearings or interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
· Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
· Draft persuasive legal briefs, motions, and supporting documents for immigration proceedings.
· Conduct legal research to develop case strategies and ensure effective representation.
· Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and courts.
Qualifications:
· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership in any U.S. state.
· Minimum of three years of experience in removal defense, with a focus on appeals, briefs, and motions to reopen (exceptions will be made for exceptional candidates).
· Strong legal research and writing skills.
· Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
· Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
