Key Responsibilities
Provide compliance counseling to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
Develop strategies for site remediation cost recovery and manage related litigation.
Conduct transactional due diligence to assess environmental liabilities.
Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements with environmental considerations.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar (required) and New York State Bar
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience representing clients before key regulatory bodies such as the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, EPA, NY Department of Environmental Conservation, and NY Department of Health
Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards
