GMF is seeking a Legal Assistant to become part of our team! The Legal Assistant will provide executive level support to all corporate business unit leaders and Department Heads. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, an effective multi-tasker, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment!
Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain project documents in electronic filing systems
Keep industry-related reference libraries, as well as internal policies and procedures up to date and organized
Responsible for reviewing, tracking, and monitoring legislation impacting company operations
Conduct internal audits and timely update leadership on results
Renewing and maintaining business entity documents and licensures, as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 3-5 years of legal assistant, executive assistant, or equivalent experience
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
Ability to quickly compile and organize information and documents
Working knowledge of legal terminology
Ability to handle and maintain time-sensitive and confidential materials
Critical thinking
Ability to handle heavy workload
Salary:
$45,000 – $55,000/year
Dependent upon experience
Eligible for performance bonuses
