Associate Bankruptcy Attorney
Location
Hybrid/Remote – Candidates can work from offices in PA, NJ, NY, or DE.
Required Qualifications
* J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
* Active New Jersey Bar (Required)
* PA or NY Bar admission is a plus
* Admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey
* 1–3 years of Bankruptcy Court & Litigation experience
* Experience drafting/reviewing pleadings, motions, notices, and attending court hearings
* Strong legal research, case management, communication, and organizational skills
* Experience with electronic case management systems (CaseAware preferred)
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
* Valid Driver’s License
Key Responsibilities
* Manage bankruptcy and lending case portfolios
* Draft legal documents, motions, pleadings, notices, and orders
* Conduct legal research and maintain case files
* Attend court hearings, settlement conferences, and client meetings
* Manage a high-volume caseload with timely follow-ups
Compensation & Benefits
* $100,000–$125,000+ (Based on Experience)
