Direct Counsel is Seeking an Associate Attorney to Join a National Public Interest Law Firm
We are seeking an Associate Attorney for a Palo Alto, CA-based role at a highly respected national public interest law firm. This is a unique opportunity to represent plaintiffs in class action lawsuits and individual actions involving securities, ERISA, and consumer-related fraud matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent plaintiffs in high-impact class actions and individual litigation.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
Conduct legal research, manage discovery, and assist with depositions, mediations, and trials.
Provide legal counsel and develop claims for clients in various complex matters.
Collaborate with and supervise legal assistants in case preparation and strategy.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and/or class action litigation.
Clerkship experience or strong interest in securities, ERISA, and consumer protection matters.
Licensed in California or eligible for immediate admission.
Experience with complex litigation, large-scale discovery, and e-discovery is preferred.

Pay: $135,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
