Key Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
We’re looking for a commercially focused Legal Counsel to deliver high-quality, timely legal support across all aspects of Sage’s North America operations, with a strong emphasis on go-to-market initiatives and legal compliance. You’ll collaborate closely with international legal colleagues on cross-border projects, helping to ensure consistent, scalable legal delivery worldwide. A key part of your role will be reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex, tech-focused agreements while supporting Sage’s legal compliance strategy. You’ll act as a second-line escalation point for our Legal Services Centre (LSC), guiding and mentoring less experienced team members, and driving innovation and continuous improvement in legal service delivery. You’ll also prepare and deliver business enablement materials and contribute to a cohesive, high-performing legal team culture. This is a dynamic role with opportunities to lead on international projects and make a significant impact across the global legal function.
What are we looking for?

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, juggling multiple priorities while collaborating across teams and borders. With a growth mindset and a passion for innovation, you’ll actively seek ways to improve and scale legal service delivery. You’ll provide high-quality legal support on complex projects, while also contributing to team development through mentoring or coaching.
