Are you an experienced Oil & Gas Attorney looking for a remote opportunity? We’re seeking a skilled legal professional to support a law practice’s energy clients by conducting title examinations, drafting title opinions, and advising on mineral rights and property ownership in Texas.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct thorough oil & gas title examinations and draft title opinions (Drilling, Division Order, Supplemental, and Acquisition).
Assist clients in energy, real property, and commercial transactional matters with an emphasis on the upstream oil and gas sector and title examination.
Analyze complex mineral title chains and resolve title defects.
Advise clients on surface and mineral rights, leasehold interests, and curative matters.
Collaborate with land professionals, in-house counsel, and stakeholders to facilitate transactions.
Stay current on Texas oil & gas regulations and case law affecting title issues.
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed to practice law in Texas (required).
5+ years of experience in oil & gas title work, preferably in Texas.
Strong knowledge of Texas property, contract, and oil & gas law.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
