Associate Attorney Jobs in Lake Success, NY at Shaub Ahmuty Citrin & Spratt LLP
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee case files from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
Conduct comprehensive legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal correspondence.
Advocate for clients in depositions, motion hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
Engage in settlement negotiations and dispute resolution with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and witnesses.
Work closely with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop effective case strategies and defense plans.
Key Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Michigan and in good standing with the Michigan State Bar.
1-5 years of experience in Michigan No-Fault (PIP) and insurance defense litigation.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases independently and work in a fast-paced environment.
Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
Proficiency with case management software and legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
