Our team is comprised of highly skilled attorneys who are committed to delivering comprehensive legal solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Criminal & Family Law Attorney to join our growing practice with locations in Idaho Falls & Meridian, Idaho and South Jordan, Utah. This position is specifically for our Meridian location.
Job Description: 
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate attorney to handle cases in both criminal defense and family law matters in our Meridian location. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in criminal cases, family law disputes and other related legal proceedings. Experience in both areas of family law and criminal law is not required but preferred.
Key Responsibilities: 
Represent clients in criminal defense cases (felonies, misdemeanors, and DUI).
Handle family law matters, including guardianship, adoption, divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and pleadings.
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies for trials, hearings, and settlements.
Advise clients on their legal rights and options in criminal and family law matters.
Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation.
Maintain case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
Appear in court for hearings, trials, and motions.
Qualifications: 
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school  
Admission to the Idaho State Bar with an active law license.
Minimum of two years of experience in criminal law and/or family law.
Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with clients.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with family law cases, including divorce and custody disputes.
Experience handling criminal matters.
Bilingual [Spanish, etc.] is a plus but not required.
