The Firm
Sholes Miller Rodriguez & Brown, PLLC represents an array of clients with a host of diverse legal needs. The firm was founded twenty-four years ago with a focus on representation of healthcare and medical professionals, hospitals and nursing homes. Over the years the scope of our practice has expanded to include legal counsel for individuals, families and businesses in litigation; personal injury; labor, construction and prevailing wage law; guardianships and mental health; appellate practice; civil rights; criminal defense; mediation; Title IX/sexual harassment; and wills, trusts and estates. Qualifications
Admitted to practice in NYS
J.D. from an accredited law school
Jury trial experience
At least three to five years of litigation experience
Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills
Responsibilities
Independently manage a litigation caseload, working on matters from pleadings up to and including trial
Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
Regularly handle court appearances and conduct depositions
Effectively communicate with and counsel clients
Frequently provide written reports
