• Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be a vital member of our legal team, handling personal injury cases through all stages of litigation and advocacy:
• End-to-End Case Management: Manage personal injury cases from initial intake and evaluation through trial or final resolution (settlement, mediation, or arbitration).
• Strategic Legal Drafting: Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, complex motions, discovery responses, and case strategies to ensure sound and persuasive representation.
• Litigation & Court Representation: Actively participate in litigation, including taking/defending depositions, witness preparation, hearings, and representing clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Legal Research & Strategy: Conduct detailed legal research and evidence analysis to support case strategies and maximize outcomes.
• Empathetic Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear updates, clear legal guidance, and empathetic support throughout the legal process.
• Settlement Negotiation: Actively negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure favorable outcomes and maximum compensation for our clients.
Requirements
• Education & Bar Admission: A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active admission/good standing with the New York State Bar (Mandatory).
• Experience: 1+ year of experience as an Associate Attorney (litigation experience welcomed, though personal injury litigation is not strictly required).
• Skills: Strong case management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent legal writing, verbal communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Mindset: A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
Bonus Qualifications
• 1+ year of dedicated personal injury litigation experience with a proven track record.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
